New Hampshire’s Wildlife Is at a Tipping Point

Approximately 6,000 New Hampshire wild animals are injured or orphaned every year, and they need our help to be treated, rehabilitated, and returned to the wild where they belong.

+ Active licensed NH Wildlife Rehabilitators have dwindled from 19 to 4.

+ Human encroachment on wildlife territory is causing more injuries to wildlife.

+ Fewer veterinary professionals are able to provide medical care to wildlife or to learn the skills of working with wildlife.

WE HAVE A PLAN

The New Hampshire Veterinary Center for Wildlife provides specialized training for assessment, medical treatment (including surgery), and rehabilitation of injured wildlife in a variety of New Hampshire locations.

What We Envision

Establishing the New Hampshire Veterinary Center for Wildlife is not just about providing specialized training; it’s about investing in the future of wildlife conservation and veterinary medicine.

The New Hampshire Veterinary Center for Wildlife aims to be a crucial statewide resource providing training, equipment, and financial support that maximizes the return of as many animals as possible back to the wild.

How You Can Help

With your support, we can provide resources and training that  empowers future generations of veterinarians and New Hampshire’s youth to become stewards of wildlife welfare.

Together, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of New Hampshire’s wildlife and the ecosystems they inhabit.

The New Hampshire Veterinary Center for Wildlife is a 501(c)(3) EIN #99-2398990 nonprofit charitable organization. Donations made are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
